Text Box: Mission Statement: The ABC at the GSB exists to bring together people who share an interest in Africa. Our purpose is to raise awareness of African business and cultures; promote discussion of the economic, political and social issues in Africa; and to help create opportunities for Stanford students interested in careers and entrepreneurial opportunities in Africa in Africa. We also promote development of a truly international curriculum at the GSB by bringing Africa related issues to the forefront of our management education. We advance our mission through cooperation and partnership with other organizations and programs at Stanford.   Goals for 2006-2007: · Increase general club presence and visibility within the GSB community. · Coordinate events with other student clubs within the GSB and across the Stanford community · Provide members with the opportunity to attend career treks and conferences related to Africa interests. · Strengthen relationships with Alumni interested in Africa.
