Meet the Team

Amie Borgstrom -
Administrative and Inter-School Relations Chair
Prior to the GSB,
Amie spent 6 years at DePuy Spine, a Johnson & Johnson company, as a
Senior Product Development Engineer and Project Leader where she
launched several novel implant systems for the treatment of patients
with back injuries and received the J&J Standards of Leadership Award.
Amie completed a summer internship in Strategic Marketing at Abbott
Vascular and a GMIX in Business Development at MicroPort Medical in
Shanghai. Amie is an aspiring entrepreneur in the medical device field
and has filed more than 25 patents. She received her B.S.E. in
Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.S.E. in
Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University. |

Joy
Goor - Organization and Special Events Chair
Joy
worked for 5 years at Medtronic, Heart Valves as a Manufacturing
Engineer where she focused on process improvements and product transfer
from Development to Manufacturing. Last summer, she worked at PRTM, a
management consulting firm focusing on Operations, and worked on two
projects – one at a small medical device company and the second at a
large high tech company. After graduation, she will return to PRTM, in
their Life Science group. |

Reshma Karipineni - CFO and Corporate Relations Chair
Prior to
coming to the GSB, Reshma worked for 3 years at a hedge fund as a
biotech analyst and 1 year as a biotech equity research analyst at a
botique biotech-focused bank. She did her summer internship at Gilead,
where she worked in Corporate Development to analyze early-stage
biotechnologies for potential licensing or acquisition. Following
graduation, Reshma plans to pursue a biotech startup or to work in
venture capital. |

Jeffrey Landau -
Alumni Relations,
Membership, and
Entrepreneurship Chair
From 2000-2003 Jeff worked in Eli Lilly’s Neuroscience Specialty Field
Sales Division and also participated in several strategic and tactical
marketing campaigns for Lilly’s top selling product, Zyprexa. From
2003-2006 Jeff worked for Jazz Pharmaceuticals developing Jazz’s New
Jersey and New York sales territories while also contributing to Xyrem’s
sNDA marketing team. He interned this past summer at Genentech in the
Managed Care Organization where he developed a joint tactical and
strategic plan for the Managed Care Marketing, Account Management, and
Medical Liason teams. He has a BS Biochemistry/Biotechnology from
Virginia Tech and is currently exploring biopharma entrepreneurial
opportunities after the GSB. |

Rose
Roll - Communications Chair
Rose graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Biology. She
then spent 3 years as a consultant at McKinsey & Co in the San Francisco
and London offices. At McKinsey, Rose focused on the healthcare
industry, serving pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, and hospitals on a
variety of projects, including the launch of a new cardiovascular drug
and an in-licensing due diligence. This past summer Rose interned in
Genentech’s Contract Strategy group. After graduation, Rose will
be returning to McKinsey's healthcare practice. |

Heather McCullough -
Student Relations
and Social Chair
Heather received her B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology with a minor in
Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
She began her career as a scientist in Professor Michael Eisen’s lab at
the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory studying how differences in
gene expression contribute to phenotypic variation using microarrays.
Heather is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Genetics with Professor Patrick
Brown. She is conducting research to develop a novel technique to study
eukaryotic translation regulation.
